About the Role
As Director, Global Financial Reporting, you will play a critical leadership role at the heart of Liberty Global’s Finance function, ensuring high-quality, compliant and insightful financial reporting across a complex international organisation. Based in Denver, Colorado, this role is central to how we communicate our financial performance to regulators, investors and internal stakeholders worldwide.
You will lead global financial reporting activities across U.S. GAAP and IFRS, overseeing statutory, regulatory and transaction-related reporting while continually strengthening controls and processes. Alongside deep technical ownership, you will develop and mentor a small but highly skilled team, working closely with auditors, legal, treasury and finance leaders across geographies to deliver accurate, timely and trusted reporting
What will you be doing?
• Oversee preparation, review and filing of SEC reports, including periodic filings and transaction-related documents
• Lead global IFRS and U.S. GAAP subsidiary reporting, including financial statements, footnotes and disclosures
• Coordinate financial reporting inputs from international operations to support group consolidations
• Support independent annual audits and quarterly reviews, acting as a key point of contact
• Act as control owner for SOX compliance across global financial reporting
• Provide leadership, direction and development to team members across geographies
We tend to look for people with:
Essential skills and abilities:
• Extensive experience in financial reporting, accounting and regulatory compliance
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS
• Proven SEC reporting expertise, including complex disclosures
• Demonstrated people leadership and team management capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable skills and abilities:
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification
• Public accounting background, ideally Big 4
• Experience supporting M&A, capital markets or financing transactions
• Confidence working across global, matrixed organisations
• Flexibility to support peak reporting periods and major projects

The base salary range is $144,000-$180,000 based on the level of experience
