Account Manager, Specialized Retail Lending
Job Description
Utilizing strong customer services skill this role is accountable to our clients to analyze, underwrite and recommend approval loan/ line of credit applications within our services standards, with solid justification. The account manager is also responsible for communicating loan decisions and requirements to advisors while maintaining high customer service skills. The role also involves responding to inquiries submitted by clients, financial advisors and staff by either phone or email.
The Specialized Retail Lending department is currently looking for a dynamic individual to joint their team as Account Manager
Position Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret financial statements (personal and corporate) and other documents related to the underwriting of loan applications
Review and approve within DLA, loan transactions up to $1,000,000
Recommend for approval more complex loan transactions that exceed $1,000,000
Processing of more complex new loan applications in accordance with Bank policies and procedures
Prioritization of daily work
Adjudicate security requirements on existing loan portfolio
Review loans for satisfactory repayment history, correct and continued security documentation and status
Adherence to risk/ audit / compliance requirements
Has the ability to process a high volume of applications
Meet and exceed defined service level agreements and engage Manager if SLA's are not met
Provides superior customer service to Advisors and Clients
Required Qualifications:
Team oriented with a positive attitude
3-5 years of lending experience
Excellent PC skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Good conflict resolution skills
Sound problem solving skills and strong negotiation and influencing skills
Excellent time management skills, and ability to organize, multi-task
High accuracy skills with a strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent knowledge of Banking policies, procedures and products
Strong knowledge of banking industry
Strong knowledge of banking systems
Sound knowledge of insurance and investment-based products

Salary range is expected to be between
$51,975.00 CAD - $86,625.00 CADEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
