OMS Strategic Account Manager

At DHL Global Forwarding, we don’t just move goods—we keep the world connected. As a global leader in freight forwarding, we’re growing fast, and we’re looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our Order Management Solutions (OMS) team in Melbourne. 

The Opportunity 

This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you’ll take ownership of a major strategic customer. You’ll ensure exceptional service delivery, strengthen relationships, and drive continuous improvement across operations. 

What You’ll Do 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with a key strategic customer 
• Be the voice of your customer and their go-to reliable representative 
• Deliver outstanding service and ensure expectations are consistently exceeded 
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives 
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to manage complex or non-standard requirements 
• Ensure compliance with customer-specific SOPs 
• Lead projects using DHL’s DePICT Business Delivery Framework 
• Develop clint development roadmaps, plans, and specifications, and oversee execution 

 What You Bring 

• Tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) 
• 3–5+ years in freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, or account management 
• Strong administrative and organisational skills 
• High attention to detail and a results-driven mindset 
• Experience with Microsoft programs and PowerBI 
• Ability to work independently and manage client relationships confidently 
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 
• Positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
