Job Description
Summary
The Corporate Accountant is a key member of the Corporate Accounting Team, responsible for processing complex accounting activities on a day-to-day, month-end, and year-to-date and ensuring the integrity of the Company’s financial reporting.
Working under the direction of the Assistant Controller, the Corporate Accountant partners closely with the Senior Corporate Accountant to maintain the general ledger, support month-end close processes, and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. This position also collaborates cross-functionally and contributes significantly to audits, reporting, and continuous process improvement.
Essential Functions
Manage posting of complex journal entries, including cash activity, accruals, prepaid amortization, fixed assets/depreciation, shared and accrued revenue, financing activity, and allocations across business segments and intercompany transactions
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness including maintaining proper reconciliations of assigned accounts
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring proper documentation and resolution
Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and risks
Assist and support with newly implemented ERP system, Microsoft Business Central, including enhancements, troubleshooting errors and streamlining of processes/continuous improvement
Assist with review of monthly financial statements and preparation of supporting schedules
Support the consolidation and reporting of international operations
Contribute to the preparation and distribution of monthly financial packages to leadership
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and act as a supporting liaison for external auditors
Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Operations, and Analytics teams
Create and maintain reconciliations, reports, dashboards, and analyses as needed
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
3–5+ years of corporate accounting or related experience
Experience
Strong experience working in an automated accounting environment utilizing cloud-based ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Business Central or similar)
Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, data analysis); familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus
Experience with multi-entity and international accounting is preferred
CPA or CPA-track is a plus

The role is considered remote and can be supported from a number of locations that cover standard US working time zones. There will be cases where in person team meetings or attending conferences would be required.
