Job Description
As a capital markets and treasury analyst, you help carry out financial market, capital market and treasury activities, projects and initiatives. You analyze and diagnose issues for highly innovative strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors. You provide expert opinions in accordance with your discipline’s rules and develop initiatives and action plans based on the organization’s priorities. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your field. You make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives that require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields. You lead, influence and serve as expert to your unit, senior management and decision-making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Identify, input, analyze and interpret data to inform management decision-making and monitor the application of management policies and practices. Make recommendations
- Analyze data, prepare reports, develop and propose solutions and recommendations, and provide advice on how to implement recommendations
- Prepare and propose action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters
- Develop, recommend, implement and update policies, practices and standards
- Represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with external partners and organizations.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
