Trade Operations Senior Officer Associate

Overview

 

You’ll join our growing global team within the IMI CIB Division. You’ll be based in Singapore Branch, and as part of the Trade Operations team, you'll work in the Accounting & Operations team within a dynamic, international environment where collaboration is at the core of everything we do.

What you'll be doing

 

• Export Letters of Credit advising and confirmation and Export Letters of Credit negotiation and discounting;
• Export documentary checking and discrepancies advice, Export collection and Export settlement and payment;
• Import Letters of Credit issuance, Import Letters of Credit documentary checking and discrepancies advice, Import collections and Import settlement and payment;
• Standby Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantee issuance; Refinancing transactions, Reimbursement claim;
• Risk Participation; Trade Loan;
• Performing AML screenings and checks and handling customer enquires;
• Follow ups on document status and sending of tracers and liaising with other departments as needed;
• Reporting of irregular cases to Head of Department and other job scopes as arranged by Head of Department

Who we are looking for

 

If you want to turn your passion into a career and you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you: 

• 3-5 years of experience in Trade Operations is required;
• Degree in Accounting or Finance or other related fields;
• Knowledge in the following application; UCP 600, ISBP 821, URC 522 and URR 725;
• Knowledge in the use of SWIFT system for sending and receiving SWIFT messages;
• Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook;
• Knowledge in written and spoken English.
