Reports to: HR Manager - North America Operations
Cooperates with: All Departments
Primary Responsibility: HR Generalist is responsible for supporting daily human resources operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations. This role manages multiple HR functions, including employee relations, offboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and training.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage employee relations matters for the Houston organization.
- Execute bi-weekly payroll processes and ensure timely completion of payroll checklists.
- Process high-volume HRIS transactions related to employee lifecycle changes, including compensation updates, promotions, terminations, and garnishments.
- Collaborate with the Payroll and Benefits Manager to process payroll-related matters, including reimbursements, garnishments, levies, and payment reconciliations.
- Manage annual benefits open enrollment in Houston.
- Oversee employee offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring compliance with separation procedures.
- Assist in coordinating annual and quarterly performance review cycles.
- Prepare and analyze various HR reports for People, Operations, and Executive leadership teams.
- Serve as a liaison to satellite facilities to support HR operations and address employee-related matters.
- Collaborate closely with the HR Coordinator to ensure smooth HR operations and consistent support across all HR functions.
- Maintain current knowledge of HR trends, employment laws, and best practices through ongoing professional development, webinars, and seminars.
- Coordinate and execute Houston-based employee engagement events in partnership with the global People team, ensuring alignment with companywide initiatives.
- Partner with the global People team to coordinate company-sponsored events and support strategic departmental initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or similar.
- Se prefiere hablar español e inglés. Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
- 3 + years HR and Manufacturing experience.
- Understanding of employment law, compliance, benefits, payroll.
- Accurate and outstanding data entry skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
