Applications Team Lead
The Applications Team Lead is a bold, hands-on leader and Epic expert who transforms complex ideas into powerful, real-world solutions. With a high degree of ownership and minimal supervision, this role leads application teams in designing, building, and supporting Epic systems that streamline work for providers, empower staff, and elevate the patient experience.
As the trusted subject matter expert for assigned applications, you’ll own the full lifecycle—from strategy and design to build, optimization, and support. You’ll ensure systems are secure, efficient, compliant, and built to meet the real demands of healthcare operations. Whether supporting clinical, ancillary, or financial workflows, your work directly fuels high-quality patient care.

What You’ll Do
· Lead from the front by guiding application teams with clear direction, mentorship, and deep technical expertise
· Turn user needs into smart solutions by analyzing workflows, challenges, and opportunities to improve or automate systems
· Own the application by serving as the primary expert for assigned systems, driving design, build, optimization, and long-term success
· Drive results by coordinating project and operational work to meet timelines, quality standards, and SLAs
· Partner with purpose by working closely with providers and staff to deliver tools that support exceptional patient care
· Solve what matters most by troubleshooting issues, managing escalations, and leading effective problem resolution
· Champion a winning team culture built on collaboration, accountability, and outstanding customer service
· Shape team success by contributing to team discussions and performance feedback as needed
· Lead with responsibility by promptly communicating human resource concerns to leadership

Education Requirements
· Required:
o High School Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree
· Preferred:
o Bachelor’s Degree
o Master’s Degree
Experience That Will Make You Shine
· 5 years of healthcare IT, Epic, or healthcare experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
· 7 years of healthcare IT, Epic, or healthcare experience with Associate’s Degree
· 9 years of healthcare IT, Epic, or healthcare experience with High School Diploma/GED
· Preferred: Epic implementation experience
· Strong communication and facilitation skills.
Certifications
· Certification in Epic’s Grand Central application required (and maintained per Epic guidelines).
