Role: P&C Manager
Role purpose:
The person will be responsible for defining and delivering the people plan that enables the business to achieve its goals, managing a team to provide HR support for a broad spectrum of HR activities and ensuring consistent and effective delivery of HR initiatives and projects in line with local legislation, BP policy and best practice.
Role accountabilities:
- Lead and implement agility core practices within P&C operations to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.
- Apply analytical thinking to identify trends, assess P&C program effectiveness, and inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and execute communication strategies to ensure clear and consistent messaging across the organization.
- Drive culture and behavior change initiatives to promote desired organizational values and improve employee engagement.
- Champion customer-centric thinking within P&C to deliver effective and valuable services to employees and leaders.
- Develop and manage employee engagement programs to foster a motivated and high-performing workforce.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and strategic meetings to support organizational development and change management.
- Utilize influencing skills to gain buy-in for P&C initiatives and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Conduct leadership assessments and develop programs for leadership development and succession planning.
- Manage change initiatives, including planning, communication, and implementation, to minimize disruption and maximize adoption.
- Address and resolve complex workforce concerns, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking P&C metrics.
- Contribute to and implement organizational development strategies to build a high-performing and adaptive organization.
- Leverage organizational knowledge to develop P&C solutions that are tailored to BP Business Sol (HC)'s unique context.
- Participate in shaping strategy for P&C, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and future growth.
Essential experience and Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in HR/P&C function.
- Proven experience in implementing agility core practices within an HR/P&C function.
- Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated experience in driving culture and behavior change initiatives.
- A strong understanding of customer-centric thinking and its application in P&C.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing employee engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in facilitation techniques for various group settings.
- Highly developed influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with leadership assessment methodologies and development programs.
- Proven track record in managing organizational change effectively.
- Strong ability to manage and resolve complex workforce concerns.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Solid understanding of organizational development principles and practices.
- Ability to quickly acquire and apply organizational knowledge.
- Experience in shaping and contributing to strategic initiatives.
