Compensation

$17.00 Hourly

 

This position supports the Student Conduct unit by focusing on:

  • Scheduling disciplinary meetings and hearings for staff

  • Preparing case documentation packets for panel hearings and appeal meetings, and

  • Providing overall administrative support as the conduct case manager   

Job Functions:

The Conduct Case Manager supports the regulated hearing scheduling process, case documentation requirements, and general supportive services offered to students under the Student Conduct unit within the Dean of Students Office. 

The Conduct Case Manager will work to support the University Conduct Officer with scheduling student conduct hearings, processing Notice of Charges Letters, Case Documentation preparation, and preparations for conduct appeals by blending administrative functions with regulatory requirements and submissions from case participants within the conduct case management system, along with general support to ensure student success. 

Marginal Functions: The Conduct Case Manager maintains the confidentiality of student records. Other duties as assigned.

This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check.

The holder of this position is designated as a “Responsible Employee” pursuant to their role under Title IX. Therefore, the incumbent must promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse by or against any student, employee, contractor, or visitor to the University’s Title IX Administrator or any divisional Title IX Coordinator

 

This position has been designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). This position has been designated as a CSA because it involves significant responsibility for student and campus activities and/or responsibility for campus security. As such, any person in this position must report to the University Police Department a crime or an incident that might be a crime that he/she becomes aware of. This position has a reporting requirement because the University believes that responsibility for students, campus activities and/or campus security will make the holder of this position someone members of the University community will see as an authority figure and someone to whom they can seek help. A CSA is not expected to investigate or determine whether a criminal incident actually took place. A CSA ’ s responsibility is a duty to report. All positions designated as CSAs are required to complete an online or in - person training session.
