Plant Engineer

NAES Corporation is seeking a Plant Engineer to support engineering and performance initiatives at the Minnesota River Station and Faribault Energy Park.

Minnesota River Station in Chaska, MN, is a seven-acre natural gas–fired peaking plant serving the southwestern Twin Cities area. It operates a Siemens SGT 800 gas turbine with a capacity of about 49 MW and runs primarily during high-demand periods to support the grid. The plant is owned by the City of Chaska and managed long-term by the Minnesota Municipal Power Agency. Nearby, Faribault Energy Park, with GE Frame 7FA turbines, adds capacity to support grid reliability during peak demand.

This position offers an annual base salary ranging from $150,000 to $190,000 and includes eligibility for an annual performance bonus up to 15%.
