Psychologist - Lifemark Health Group, Provincial Mental Health Programs & Services
Location: Lifemark Harvey Avenue (1634 Harvey Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 6G2)
Schedule: Monday-Friday Flexible 8:00am-4:00pm 100% On-Site and Virtual options available
Status: Permanent Full time – 40 hrs/week
Lifemark has an exciting opportunity for an established Registered Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team in Kelowna, BC.
This full-time (or we may consider Part-Time), on-site position includes health & dental benefits, a competitive guaranteed annual salary, and a continuing education allowance for professional development.
We are looking for a psychologist that will work primarily with our interdisciplinary team to facilitate return to work activities for clients with complex injuries. You may be required to work with clients where most injuries are musculoskeletal, with identified psychosocial concerns that may limit a successful return to work. This position will work alongside other health care professionals to rehabilitate individuals who have sustained complex work-related injuries.

In coordination with the treatment team you will be responsible for the following:
- Primarily focused on providing education and intervention for Kelowna, BC clients with workplace illness/injuries, motor vehicle accident clients, or other extended health claims such as WorkSafe BC, LTD, and PCVRS.
- Utilizing a primarily CBT approach incorporating a variety of tools and interventions, based on an overall client-centered philosophy.
- Providing timely comprehensive reporting and communicating findings to the interdisciplinary treatment team as well as referral sources.
- Psychological case management input and direction to interdisciplinary team members in regard to client progress, psychosocial barriers, conflict resolution and discharge planning.
Qualifications:
- Registered Psychologist, in good standing with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia
- EMDR is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to effectively adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
- The understanding of WCB, insurance, and workplace health would be an asset.
- Conducting psychological assessments (MMPI-3, PAI) with adults for various goals, including treatment planning is an asset.
- Specific experience in the assessment and treatment of occupational rehabilitation claims.

Lifemark Harvey Avenue is a large multidisciplinary physiotherapy facility providing a full rehabilitation gym and private treatment rooms for Physiotherapists, Registered Massage Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Kinesiologists, Clinical Counsellors, and Psychologists.
