Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Sales Support Specialist at our Columbus, OH, location.

This position provides day-to-day support for Key Account Executives by helping manage workflow, data, reporting, and customer-related activities tied to high-value accounts. The Sales Specialist works closely with sales, operations, and internal teams to ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and forward momentum across key accounts in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary day-to-day support partner to Key Account Executives, managing a high volume of inbound requests and priorities.
- Coordinate across internal teams to support key accounts, including pricing updates, account changes, reporting requests, and other sales-support activities.
- Manage and maintain accurate CRM data, dashboards, and reporting to support sales execution and visibility.
- Support onboarding and ongoing enablement of Key Account Executives by assisting with tools, processes, and required documentation.
- Execute a high volume of ad hoc and time-sensitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactively identify issues, take ownership of tasks, and move work forward without requiring constant direction.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- 2-3 years of experience supporting sales teams, operations, leadership, or other fast-paced internal customer groups.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Experience working with CRM systems, reporting tools, and business systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft tools, including Excel and Outlook; familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with internal stakeholders at various levels.
- Self-directed, proactive working style with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

- This position is in the office Monday through Friday each week.
