RESPONSIBILITIES
- Centralized function responsible for invoice submission for Evonik’s three legal entities in Mexico.
- Upload customer invoices into customer portals and/or submit invoices via customer-designated email addresses.
- Ensure complete and accurate submission of invoices including all required documentation.
- Subtasks
- Keep track of assigned accounts to follow up the outstanding invoices.
- Follow the established escalation strategy to ensure the submission of outstanding invoices or other relevant documents, such as goods receipts, evidencies among others.
- Handle questions or inquiries related to customer’s invoices.
- Maintain complete supporting correspondence for all invoice submissions.
- Maintain high accuracy and customer service standards.
- Responsible for the activities inherent to its function, complying with the requirements of the Code of Conduct; of the Responsible Care Program; quality, environment, safety and health management system; Internal Procedures; and ISO 9001 and/or 14001 standards where applicable.
- Verify payment information in the portals to share with collectors.
- REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in accounting, Business, or Finance.
- Language: Intermediate to advanced level of English
- Strategic Thinking: is required to quickly digest data, address challenges and offer potential solutions.
- Customer focus orientation: clearly understanding and developing empathy with internal and external customers and their demands. This explicitly involves having clear writing and oral communication skills.
- Team Player: working effectively with members of the team as well as assisting in the resolution of cases. Shows commitment, competence and leads by example.
- Attention to details; demonstrates a high level of accuracy and diligence to ensure correct and complete invoices and Complementos de Pago submissions.
- Accounting knowledge: basic accounting knowledge or understanding of invoicing, accounts receivable processes, and financial documentation.
