Technical Lead

As one of our original engineers the Technical Lead works closely with the Product Manager in order to implement the system architecture and functionality. The Technical Lead has the authority and responsibility to make key technical choices in design and implementation of the platform. The role requires hands on development, problem resolution and knowledge of various available technologies, frameworks and packages. The Technical Lead works with the Product Manager to manage and mentor the development team. The Technical Lead establishes the standards for code development, manages code review and quality, and authors code where needed.

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 8+ years software engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience leading a software development team through full development lifecycle to deployment
• Deep Experience in database design and development, particularly NoSQL databases including graph and document structures.
• Experience working with and managing geographical distributed teams
• Experience in enterprise database integrations, and API development 
• Experience building complex, high-performance, and highly-available distributed software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
• Background in encryption and security a plus
• Experience with model development, deep learning and machine learning a plus
• Strong communication skills, in both nontechnical and technical communication, writing and documentation
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, open-ended environment
