Job Title: 3PW & Ocean Manager

Reports to: Director of Logistics
Location: Wisconsin Rapids, WI (on-site)
Position Summary
Manage the day-to-day execution of ND Papers third party warehouse shipments, international shipments, and inventory transactions. Manage the warehouse and carrier vendors to meet company KPI’s while ensuring the lowest cost solutions are fully utilized. Work with Logistics Procurement and Sales to determine the optimal warehouse strategy and needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work.
- Ensure team are completing daily critical tasks (PGI’s, Unplanned SO’s, Deliveries without Shipments, Untendered, and Call Completes SO’s/PO’s)
- Provide warehouses weekly forecasting for inbound and outbound volumes. Raise concerns of space constraints or outbound appointment constraints with CS management.
- Ensure cost-effective routings and Shipping Condition utilized for all inventory.
- Ensure accurate inventory levels and provide status reporting for disposition.
- Manage warehouse claims through resolution.
- Request export contracts based on available inventory and provide weekly HQ Contract tracking report
- Provide weekly KPI improvement plans on Inventory levels at warehouses, In Transit inventory, Blocked inventory status, Warehouse Demurrage, Warehouse Claims, Warehouse loading FIFO.
- Manage team members performance, including bi-annual assessments and PTO requests.
- Monitor cost-per-mile, accessorial charges, and lane-level budget adherence.
- Provide input on warehouse strategy during negotiations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- 98% on time dispatch. Measured as % of shipments created and tendered prior to the ready date for all warehouses
- OTD to LDD w/o Coding of 95% for all warehouses (Exclude Plants 6030, 1520, 2400, and 2500), excluding lates due to production issues
- 98% inventory accuracy for all 3PW facilities.
- 100% export contract fulfillment before contract LSD
- All export containers shipped greater than 23MT
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.
- 4–6 years’ experience in transportation procurement, preferably across multiple modes.
- Demonstrated success managing carrier negotiations and strategic freight sourcing.
- Strong Excel/data analysis skills; experience with TMS platforms required.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
