Key Responsibilities:
- Operate hydrovac excavation equipment safely and efficiently to perform excavation, potholing, and utility locating tasks.
- Drive and transport hydrovac trucks and related equipment to job sites, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Follow project plans and specifications to complete excavation tasks accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment and work site.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating hydrovac excavation equipment.
- Knowledge of excavation safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and operate heavy machinery.
