Le Perroquet
Le Perroquet is an all-day French brasserie from Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Rose, offering classic French dishes crafted with seasonality, technique and a sense of occasion in the heart of Mayfair. It will open at The St. Regis London, Mayfair’s newest luxury destination, located at the corner of Conduit and New Bond Street.
As Restaurant Barista, you will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional coffee service and beverage preparation. Working within the luxury restaurant environment, you will deliver expertly crafted coffees and hot beverages while supporting the wider Food & Beverage team to ensure seamless service. This role is ideal for a passionate and service‑driven professional who takes pride in quality, consistency and genuine guest engagement within a luxury dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of speciality coffees, teas and hot beverages to the highest standards
- Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation and service delivery
- Engage with guests confidently, providing recommendations and personalised service
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation and presentation of coffee stations and service areas
- Operate, clean and maintain coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment of coffee, milk, syrups and related supplies
- Support the restaurant team with beverage preparation and service during busy periods
- Assist the bar team with basic beverage preparation and operational support when required
- Process guest orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a strong knowledge of menus, beverages and restaurant offerings
- Follow all health, safety, hygiene and food safety procedures
- Uphold luxury service standards and contribute to an exceptional guest experience
Core Competencies
We are seeking a polished and enthusiastic professional with a passion for coffee, hospitality and guest service. You should have:
- Previous experience as a Barista, ideally within a luxury hotel, restaurant or premium café environment
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, equipment and speciality beverages
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and presentation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and engaging approach
- A proactive mindset and genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences
- Basic knowledge of beverage service, including an understanding of cocktails, would be advantageous
- Impeccable personal presentation aligned with luxury brand standards
- A collaborative approach, working seamlessly with restaurant and bar teams
