TOC - CLN Medical Assistant

The Orthopaedic Center is looking for a highly motivated Medical Assistant (MA). This opening is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. The MA will assist various orthopedic physicians under the direction of Clinical Coordinator and provide coverage for clinical teams as needed. Perform general nursing duties, suture/staple removal, and wound care/dressing changes. Drawing up and calling in medications. Application of sterile fields and removal of casts and splints. Locate any necessary imaging, test results or reports for upcoming appointments. Schedule and precert MRI’S, lab work, procedures, and surgeries.
