Shop/Deli Assistant at SPAR Thurles, Tipperary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Shop/Deli Assistant at SPAR in Thurles, Tipperary. As a Shop/Deli Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our shop and deli.
The Role:
Assist customers with their purchases and provide exceptional customer service at all times
Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
Keep the shop and deli areas clean, organised, and well-stocked
Prepare and serve deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food
Monitor and maintain food safety standards and practices
Receive and check deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality
Assist in maintaining inventory levels and participate in stocktaking
Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
The ideal candidate for this position is friendly, reliable, and has a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Previous experience in a retail or deli environment is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
