SCOPE OF THE POSITION: The Welder is responsible for assembly securing and welding metal parts, as well as reading and interpreting blueprints of a complex nature, fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications with little supervision. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Reads and comprehends blueprints. Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding from blueprints. Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together. Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds part to secure in position for welding. Sets up equipment and welds parts, GMAW MIG.
