Compensation

The compensation target for this role is: $25.50 - $30.00

This position objective will be to manage inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items; securing warehouse; supervising staff at the Purple facility. This individual will coordinate with warehouse manager, purchasing, fulfillment and production in the development of lean efficient warehouse practices.

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

 

  • Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.  

  • Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.  

  • Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.  

  • Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.  

  • Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.  

  • Secures warehouse by turning alarms on; testing systems.  

  • Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.  

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.  

 

 

 

Required Skills, Education, Experience: 

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 

  • Experience with Data Entry Management and Safety Management 

  • Prior supervisory experience preferred

  • Remaining in stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time.  

  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.

  • Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. 

  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned. 

 

Environmental Conditions may occasionally include:  

  • Noisy manufacturing environment 

 

Work Hours (Good Faith Estimate):

This full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week. This is a good faith estimate, and actual hours may vary based on business needs.
