As a Procurement Supervisor, you will lead procurement activities supporting manufacturing operations by driving sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and commercial negotiations.
About the Job:
Lead procurement projects impacting current sourcing processes, supplier relationships, and operational performance.
Drive strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize pricing, delivery terms, quality, and supply continuity for key materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
Review existing supplier agreements and identify opportunities for renegotiation to improve commercial terms, cost competitiveness, and service performance.
Lead supplier negotiations and commercial discussions to secure favorable pricing, contracts, and long-term partnerships.
Partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Business Unit stakeholders to support ongoing business requirements and new product development initiatives.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers capable of supporting technical, operational, and commercial requirements.
Support cross-functional projects related to manufacturing, engineering changes, product launches, and supply chain optimization activities.
Monitor supplier performance and support corrective actions to address quality, delivery, or service-related issues.
Analyze procurement and supplier data to identify cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
Recommend and drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes, systems, and supplier management practices.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual requirements, and corporate standards.
Coach, support, and manage team activities while maintaining accountability for team performance, development, and execution of procurement objectives.
Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support long-term business goals.
Support risk mitigation activities related to supply continuity, supplier performance, and market changes.
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4-7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of procurement practices, supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
Experience supporting manufacturing operations and cross-functional business initiatives.
Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and develop practical business solutions.
Advanced problem-solving capabilities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Experience working within global manufacturing organizations is preferred.
Previous experience leading, coaching, or supervising team members is advantageous.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
