Duration: July – September 30, 2026

This placement is for Summer 2026.
 
Position: Event Planning Co-op
Compensation: approx. $21/hr, 37.5 hrs per week

Work location: Downtown Toronto - Hybrid; 3 days onsite


Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Executive Assistant, the incumbent will:

  • Support the planning and execution of key internal events, including the annual golf tournament, leadership visits, and company-wide events

  • Assist in organizing activities and logistics for executive visits, including scheduling, vendor coordination, and on-site support

  • Support planning and coordination of town halls and holiday events, including pre-event preparation and communications

  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure events align with business needs

  • Coordinate event logistics such as venue bookings, catering, materials, and vendor communication

  • Assist with event communications and materials to ensure a seamless employee experience

  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the HR team as required

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • French is considered a strong asset

  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively

  • Previous experience supporting event planning or coordination is an asset

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
