Patient Care Technician I, AAMC, Med Surg, Full Time, Days

6:45AM-7:15PM, including every other weekend including holidays. The PCT I provides compassionate patient care to a diverse age group of patients with a variety of medical and/or surgical conditions. This individual provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other patient care team members including the patient and family, to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The PCT I assist with activities of daily living and delegated patient care treatments and procedures. The PCT I has access to confidential patient information and carries out their assignments under the guidance of a licensed nurse. The PCT I also work as a Unit Secretary when requested.
