Traffic Director
Job Description
El Dorado Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a safety conscious Traffic Director to join our team in Placerville, CA! This position will also be working part of the time on our sorting line.
The schedule will be Thursday - Sunday, 7AM-5:30PM.
Starting pay will be $22 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $21-$22/hour.
Responsibilities Include:
Spotting and helping to direct customers and work trucks to appropriate dump sites.
Traffic management - moving signs and cones
On the sorting line ensuring appropriate material is going into the baler.
Cleaning equipment - sweeping/power washing
General site cleanup as needed
Friendly customer service
Other laborer/MRF duties as needed
Requirements:
At least 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a labor type position.
The ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Experience operating equipment is a plus
Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
Ability to stand throughout entire shift
