Salary Range:

$32.60-$43.08 USD

*Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.

What you will be doing:

Maintenance Technician III specializes in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing advanced electrical and industrial control systems. This position supports production uptime, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Maintenance Technician III serves as a technical resource for complex equipment failures and supports continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and productivity. 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Observe and follow all safety standards, regulations, and Lockout/Tagout procedures. 

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. 

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment. 

  • Diagnose and resolve PLC, sensor, drive, robotics, and control system issues. 

  • Utilize schematics, manuals, technical drawings, and documentation to support repairs and installations. 

  • Collaborate with machine operators, supervisors, engineers, and maintenance personnel to resolve equipment issues and improve reliability. 

  • Document labor, repairs, and equipment history accurately within the CMMS system. 

  • Support spare parts inventory management, including proper usage, organization, and replenishment. 

  • Maintain clean, organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards. 

  • Assist with facility maintenance, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, compressed air, exhaust systems, and building infrastructure. 

  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to lower-level technicians. 

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. 

  • Promote a positive team environment and support the department's "One Team, One Fight" culture. 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent – Required. 

  • Trade school, technical certification, or military maintenance training – Preferred. 

  • Associate degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred. 

  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered. 

  • Technical certification, trade school training, military maintenance training, or equivalent industrial maintenance experience preferred. 

  • Minimum five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. 

What you need:

 

  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems. 

  • Experience troubleshooting PLCs, industrial controls, sensors, drives, and automated equipment. 

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals. 

  • Proficient in advanced troubleshooting using diagnostic tools, meters, and testing equipment. 

  • Familiarity with CMMS systems, work order documentation, and spare parts management. 

  • Strong understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), 6S, and industrial safety practices. 

  • Ability to work independently while providing guidance and support to lower-level technicians. 

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and respond to production needs as required. 

  • PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, or equivalent). 

  • Industrial robotics troubleshooting and maintenance (Fanuc, OTC Daihen, or equivalent). 

  • Servo motor, VFD, and motion control systems. 

  • Automated manufacturing equipment and conveyor systems. 

  • Predictive maintenance technologies, including thermal imaging, vibration analysis, and ultrasound testing. 

  • Root cause analysis and reliability-centered maintenance practices. 

  • Laser alignment, precision measurement, and critical equipment repairs. 

  • Welding, fabrication, machining, or machine shop experience. 

  • High-speed manufacturing and automated production environments.
