What you will be doing:
- Responsible for determining competitive and accurate estimates to achieve margin and financial targets.
- Organizes and manages centralized cost estimating models to ensure current and strategic pricing data is used during proposal development.
- Works closely with Lead Service Estimator to determine budgeting and strategic goals for estimating activities and business development opportunities.
- Interfaces with service technicians to insure that projects are delivered per estimates and consistently refining the estimating formulas -Process electronic work requests and submit proposals for work found on service calls to all accounts unless it is a Key Account handled by others.
- Call vendors for pricing and availability on parts for service/repair estimates.
- Field customer calls requesting service or maintenance work and providing or arranging any necessary follow-up calls.
- Develop a good working relationship with field supervisors and technicians, learning their abilities and skill levels.
- Deliver and maintain the highest level of Customer Service -Other tasks as assigned.
What you need for this position:
- Required (2) year degree or equivalent field experience (willing to train)
- High School Diploma or GED (BS Degree in related field preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
- Strong computerized skills - preference for Sampro
- Must be able to work independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Willingness to learn and be a part of a team
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Perform additional assignments per manager’s direction
- Able to pass a Drug Test and a Background check
