Industrial Market Account Manager
You will be part of the European Key Industrial & IoT Team, a dedicated and high-impact sales organization responsible for building deep, trusted, and long-term partnerships with NXP’s most strategic customers.
This role requires a senior executive profile, capable of defining, shaping, and executing a comprehensive growth strategy. The Account Manager is expected to act as a strategic business leader, driving alignment between customer’ priorities and NXP’s long-term vision to unlock sustainable and profitable growth.
The successful candidate combines strong executive presence, strategic thinking, and operational rigor, with the ability to influence both internally and externally at the highest levels of the organization.
Mission
You will define and execute the NXP growth strategy across assigned strategic accounts, identifying, cultivating, and securing profitable business opportunities in line with NXP’s overall strategy and ambitions.
A critical part of your success will be your ability to build and leverage executive-level relationships, align cross-functional stakeholders, and orchestrate global resources to deliver measurable business impact and market share gains.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Growth Design
- Define, own, and execute the global growth strategy for assigned strategic accounts
- Translate customer’ business priorities into actionable plans aligned with NXP Business Lines
- Drive long-term value creation, ensuring consistent market share gains versus competitors
- Executive Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships at executive level within the accounts
- Build and continuously update a strategic stakeholder map across customer
- Position NXP as a strategic partner of choice at the highest decision-making levels
- Business Development & Opportunity Capture
- Identify, prioritize, and pursue high-value opportunities across assigned strategic accounts
- Influence customer roadmaps by leveraging deep understanding of NXP solutions and differentiators
- Collaborate closely with NXP Business Lines to shape New Product Introductions (NPI) based on customer and appliance requirements
- Global Coordination & Execution
- Lead and orchestrate a virtual global team of sales, marketing, and technical experts
- Coordinate activities across regions to maximize impact in key customer R&D centers worldwide, including the ODMs involved in the customers design
- Ensure alignment and execution discipline across all NXP stakeholders
- Commercial Strategy & Governance
- Develop and manage Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) supporting 2–3 year strategic objectives and KPIs
- Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management (POS, DIR, ML) through NXP systems (e.g., SFDC, SBF, RFF)
- Partner with Sales Operations and Customer Service to ensure robust tracking of global Siemens business
- Market & Ecosystem Intelligence
- Maintain up-to-date insights on customer R&D footprint, investment areas, and competitive landscape
- Monitor Total Available Market (TAM) evolution and align resource allocation accordingly
- Internal & External Engagement
- Drive engagement initiatives such as technology days, executive briefings, and strategic workshops
- Promote NXP’s Industrial portfolio and roadmap effectively within customers organizations
- Ensure continuous communication and visibility of NXP value proposition
Profile & Expectations
- Executive-level mindset and presence, with proven ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders
- Strong track record in developing and executing strategic account growth plans in complex global environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, international teams without direct authority
- Deep understanding of the Industrial market and ecosystem, with strong business acumen
- Results-driven, with a clear focus on profitable growth and market share expansion

As of the date of this posting, the estimated gross annual base salary range for this position in Italy is between 67,200 € and 92,500 € annually. This range is intended as a guideline. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, and specific business or organizational needs.This position falls under the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement (Metalmeccanica Industria).
Where relevant, the total compensation package may also include additional elements such as annual incentive opportunities and/or equity, along with a competitive benefits package.
