Job Description:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to maximize uptime
- Resolve daily production electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems, and perform scheduled routine preventive maintenance
- Work from drawings, schematics, blueprints, job layouts and written or verbal instructions to perform assigned tasks
- Support the Production Department in order to manufacture safe, quality, products
- PLC troubleshooting experience is required
Required Qualifications
- Commitment to working safely
- High School Diploma or GED
- Be available to work weekends, overtime, and flexible shifts
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A minimum of 3-5 years applicable work experience as a multi-skilled industrial maintenance technician
Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of brake system components, and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Motivated, self-starter with the ability to perform duties with minimal supervision

Education
- Associate’s degree in industrial electricity, power and controls, or mechanical engineering
Work Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred

Physical Requirements
- Regularly stand and walk for extended periods while working in manufacturing environments
- Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through electronic communication
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull items such as documents, sample parts, or small tools (up to 50 lbs.)
- Work safely in environments that may include noise, temperature variation, moving equipment, and industrial materials
- Ability to effectively communicate in Business English
Work Environment
- Shop floor manufacturing setting
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hat, and steel-toe shoes required in designated areas
