Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Support commercial leadership in developing sales and growth strategies.
- Conduct pricing, margin, and promotion analysis to drive profitability.
- Forecast and monitor revenue and assigned category KPIs.
- Provide commercial insights for category planning, assortment decisions, and go-to-market strategies.
- Manage relationships with assigned key vendors, brands, and logistics partners.
- Oversee partner onboarding, contract management, and SLA compliance.
- Lead negotiations for better terms, margins, or operational efficiencies.
- Coordinate with supply chain and fulfilment teams to ensure inventory availability and service quality.
- Monitor SKU-level performance and suggest optimizations (e.g., delisting, promo focus).
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues between internal teams and external partners.
- Build and maintain dashboards to track sales, returns, profitability, and vendor performance.
- Identify process gaps using data, and lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Liaise with marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure campaign alignment and operational feasibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field
- MBA is a plus
- Strong analytical and commercial understanding
Experience (Industry Preference)
- 3–6 years of experience in: Q-commerce / E-commerce, Grocery retail, Modern Trade / Retail, Category Management / Commercial / Buying, & FMCG
- Experience in handling vendors, promotions, pricing, and category growth is preferred
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and operations is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Experience with dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio)
- Good understanding of: Pricing and margin analysis, Sales forecasting, Inventory and assortment management and, KPI tracking and reporting
- Comfortable working with large datasets and performance analysis

Location / Field Work Requirement
- Primarily office-based role
- However, occasional field visits may be required for: Vendor meetings, Store visits, Market visits, Operational alignment with logistics or fulfilment teams and, Frequent coordination with warehouses/stores and external partners may be part of the role.
