AI Analyst — Insurance Tech - Marsh
Job Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Office of the UK CIO team at Marsh. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role focuses on leveraging AI technologies to enhance insurance technology delivery within the London Market specialty lines. You will act as a domain expert and AI analyst, using AI-augmented tools to accelerate analysis, draft user stories, map dependencies, and ensure delivery readiness across placing platforms, claims, premium and fiduciary systems, regulatory submissions, and delegated authority workflows. Your expertise will drive AI-enabled transformation and improve delivery outcomes by translating business intent into actionable, AI-enhanced solutions.
We will count on you to:
Use AI-assisted tools to analyse business processes, generate user stories, acceptance criteria, and gap analyses rapidly and reliably.
Translate business and technical requirements into AI-enabled delivery-ready scope across the full Specialty value stream, including Lloyd’s-specific workflows and regulatory submission requirements.
Act as the AI domain authority within delivery teams, providing insights into how AI can optimise insurance processes and solutions.
Map and visualise complex cross-system dependencies early, using AI and process discovery tools to prevent blockers and accelerate delivery.
Collaborate closely with Strategic TPMs, Solutions Architects, and delivery teams to align AI capabilities with programme priorities and architecture.
Support the embedding of AI into BA workflows and contribute to shaping AI standards and tooling adoption within the Office of the UK CIO.
What you need to have:
Hands-on experience in the London Market or specialty insurance lines, with strong familiarity of Lloyd’s workflows and placing platforms.
Proven experience in insurance technology delivery, with a focus on AI-enabled analysis, process automation, or digital transformation.
Practical knowledge of ACORD, MRC standards, market messaging, and regulatory reporting (Lloyd’s, FCA) and their impact on solution design.
Strong skills in Agile delivery, including writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog grooming, and gating work for delivery.
Experience using AI tools, process intelligence, or automation platforms in day-to-day analysis and documentation, or a strong willingness to adopt them quickly.
Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills with a track record of influencing across business and technology.
What makes you stand out:
Experience identifying and defining AI-enabled transformation opportunities across insurance functions such as claims, underwriting, policy administration, and operational support.
Ability to facilitate workshops, map current and target-state processes, and translate insurance business challenges into practical AI solutions with measurable success criteria.
Experience supporting AI product delivery, governance, operational risk, regulatory alignment, and responsible AI adoption within insurance environments.
Why join our team:

We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.
