What You Will Do
Maintaining warehouse facility to ensure proper handlings of chemicals, namely, receiving & dispatching.
Operate batch processing equipment which include tanks, pumps, charging systems, bulk loading and packaging systems and forklifts.
Ensure incoming materials are stored, stacked, and distributed according to company procedures and standard operating procedures (SOP).
Manage stock levels by participating in stock taking and cycle counting. Take inventory of raw and intermediate materials for ordering purposes.
Prepare finished goods for packing and dispatch.
Produce the highest standard of work possible in accordance with the company’s procedures.
Prepare drums and tote tanks for loading and shipping which includes labelling in accordance with company and government regulations.
Operate all pumps for shipping and receiving of bulk materials and cleaning tote tank when needed.
Operating of company forklifts & vehicles in day-to-day operations.
Blending of chemicals according to company blend sheets.
Perform all required site inspections & housekeeping.
Follow and promote continuous improvement of performance, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Practice good housekeeping in all areas of the facility.
Carry out any other function necessary for the smooth running of warehouse function.
Basic Requirements
Minimum high school graduate or CSEC
Supply Chain Certificate will be a plus
2 years of logistics related experience would be an asset.
Proficient in operating forklifts, with forklift license.
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language
Knowledge and understanding of plant and warehouse operations and ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
Experience with SAP will be a plus

Physical Demands
Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
