General Office Clerk (Part Time)

Job Description

Job Summary:

 

  • Greets and interacts with students, parents and staff visiting school office
  • Answers calls and effectively resolves issues/questions or directs to appropriate school personnel as necessary
  • Types lists, reports, letters, programs, school newspaper, tests, etc.
  • Assists with registration, testing and school activities
  • Operates office machines
  • Sorts and distributes mail as required
  • Complete basic medical procedures including diabetes care, epipen injections, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Applications
  • Outstanding communications and customer service skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, parents, co-workers and the public
  • Good typing, spelling and language skills
  • Excellent organizational, computation and spelling skills
  • Working knowledge of basic office procedure and the operation of common office machines


Working Conditions:

A-1, $15.60 - $20.48/Hour, 10 month position; Start date: August 2026
