Cleaner

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean floors and restock all facility washrooms as required.
  • Check for restocking three times per shift (i.e., toilet paper, seat protectors, paper towels, soap)
  • Wipe down all stainless steel and check for plugged sinks
• Order and replace sanitary supplies as required.
  • Review and update supply checklist daily  
• Check all garbage and recycling bins on the plant floor and remove garbage and cardboard from the plant area as required.
• Clean ovens, fridges, microwaves, and sinks in the lunchrooms as required. 
• Shovel snow as required (i.e., front entrance, employee entrance).
• Responsible for general yard duties as required.
• Use the wood compactor and cardboard compactor as required.
• Remove scrap metal from under the conveyor on a weekly basis. 
• Empty trays in the back scrap room as required.  
• Clean the floor using the drivable floor cleaner once per day at each location.
• Provide support during equipment moves.  
• Clean the receiver tanks for the compressor.
• Clean garage doors.
• Dust in the facility as required.
• Clean windows indoors once per month.
• Pick up gloves and rags throughout the building.
• Maintain the floor sweeper as needed and perform daily checks to ensure the efficiency of all functions.

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of forklift experience.
• Aerial Work Platform experience is an asset.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.

This job posting is for an existing vacancy. The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be:

$20.50 - $30.59
