We are looking for a leader to ensure an exceptional member and employee experience. The Senior Branch Manager (Level III) is responsible for the growth and development of their Community Financial Center III production while developing employees to acquire new business and deepening existing member relationships.

The Manager drives productivity, market growth/business development, and member/customer engagement, through both outside sales and community-driven activities. The manager is managing outside sales and community outreach on an average of 3 – 4 days a week.

As a leader, you will coach, develop, and motivate your team to achieve their full potential to support the credit union’s corporate goals and strategic plan.

Leadership:

  • Accountable for managing individual and team queues to ensure loan questions, and messages are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
  • Strong Leader, assertive, initiative-taking with a sense of urgency.
  • Accountable for the overall sales, service, and operational success and growth of the Community Financial Center – and direct report management responsibilities of the Assistant Branch Manager.

Business/Sales Development:

  • Develops and executes local sales strategies that increase member retention, expansion and acquisition through community activities, development of centers of influence, and proactive market development.
  • Outside sales developing the business market within the geographic proximity of the assigned Community Financial Center(s). Branch Managers are expected to be out in the community and conducting outside business calls 3-4 days per week.
  •  Effectively partners with other business groups (business and private banking, investments, insurance, title, bank @wok) to leverage existing membership base for deepening of wallet share and expand vertical and horizontal referral networks.
  • Reviews and utilizes sales leads reports, prevailing offers, and market promotions to implement action plans that support sales goals for the Center. Reports outside business activities “plan of action” to VP Member Sales and debrief of activities and successes at the end of the week.

    Member Experience

    • Monitors and tracks Community Financial Centers service quality levels through Google ratings as well as Mpulse scores.
    • Resolve escalated member concerns in a timely manner.
    • Effective negotiation, sales, and relationship-building skills are necessary.
    • Proven success in prospecting, building a pipeline, and moving sales opportunities.
    • Partner with community organizations to establish and maintain relationships that will enhance the growth and recognition of the credit union.

    Operational:

    • Reviews loan documentation for accuracy and completeness.
    • Work closely with the Operation Support Managers on adhering to GTE’s Branding standards.
    • Support the Operations Support team in implementing the needed procedures, processes, or experiences to create a “Franchise” business model where all Community Financial Centers operate identically to one another, as well as adhere to documented Golden Standards.
    • Oversees, in conjunction with the Facilities Department, that Community Financial Center facilities are properly maintained and secured both interior and exterior.
    • Must demonstrate a functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to the U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.
    • Must qualify for National Mortgage License System number (NMLS) and must obtain the Florida Department of Financial Services Credit Life and Disability License.

    Goals:

    • 70% outside business development, 10% Bank and work efforts, 20% coaching and development.
    • Market potential.
      • Marked grades of A (goals are based on needs and direction of organization)

    Required Qualifications: 

    • Undergraduate degree required.
    • Min 10 years’ experience preferably in the finance industry with at least 2 year’s management experience or a combination of education and experience.
    • Knowledge of lending practices regarding interpretation of credit bureau reports, underwriting criteria, and basic lending philosophy
    • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).

    Position Details:

    • Location:  Community Financial Center
    • Hours:  Monday – Friday (9:00 am to 5:00 pm)

    Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects.
