
Administrative Assistant
Job Description
The administrative assistant is responsible for work related to the ongoing operations of the
office including, but not limited to, the front desk, overall office needs, coordination of events and meetings, and other related work as assigned.
Essential Duties:
- Greet all employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer general phone inquiries in a courteous and professional manner and direct
calls/take messages as appropriate. - Enter daily attendance into the Newport system in a timely, accurate manner.
- Maintain contact lists for locations and staff.
- Maintain office supply room/inventory and coordinate ordering.
- Maintain and process monthly expense reports for leadership.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for the team as needed.
- Assist with employee engagement activities.
- Assist with Uniform Management and ordering.
- Assist with creating presentations and/or reports for leadership.
- All other duties related to reception and office management, as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred.
- One to three (1-3) years Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.

Compensation for this role ranges from $20-26 per hour depending on education and experience.
