Role Overview

As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and effective radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. You’ll administer treatments according to established standards, maintain accurate patient treatment records, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and support high‑quality patient care throughout the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed
• Follow established standards, protocols, and safety practices
• Maintain accurate treatment and medical records
• Assist with patient setup, positioning, and verification
• Operate treatment machines and related equipment
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and care teams
• Support workflow, room preparation, and patient throughput
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

🎓 Education – Required

• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technical Program or equivalent

🎓 Education – Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field

---

Certification & Licensure – Required

• State of Florida Radiation Therapy License
• ARRT Certification – Radiologic Technologists
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

---

Experience

• Radiation therapy experience preferred

---
