Booking.com is seeking a full time German Speaking Account Manager for the German Coast, based in our lovely office in Hamburg!

 

Role Description:

You support Booking.com BV; you are responsible for informing and consulting its accommodation partners in regards to their business performance, market opportunities and industry trends

You will empower partners on how to use the system, tools and available products of Booking.com BV with the goal of optimizing their performance on the platform and creating an amazing experience for Booking.com’s customers

A significant proportion of your accommodation partners will be located in the Northern German Coastal region, meaning you will spend up to 50% of your time working on location with your partners at the Northern or Baltic Coast.

  • Formulating and positioning solutions: You enjoy creating “win-win” value for partners by matching their needs to relevant offerings and presenting these in compelling ways.

  • Gaining commitment: You know how to steer partner conversations and lead them to a successful outcome.

  • Representing Booking.com: You exhibit professional behavior and act as a role model for the Booking.com values before, during and after interactions with partners.

  • Learn forever: You are naturally curious and thrive on never stopping learning

    Experimenting with developments in AI and other areas comes naturally to you.

  • Using data: You can confidently use data to identify opportunities and necessary actions

    You don’t get distracted or overwhelmed by a large amount of information.



Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in a relevant account management/sales function

  • Fluent German and English speaker and writer

  • Affinity or experience within e-commerce and/or travel industry are considered a plus

  • Proactive, sense of responsibility and can work independently; team player, self-motivated, flexible and open to change

  • Driver’s license and availability to travel up to 50%
