Position Summary
The Fleet Operations Support Analyst supports the PFG Registration and Titling Team and is responsible for processing vehicle titling and registration activities for a diverse commercial fleet, including semi-tractors, trailers, and box trucks. This role focuses heavily on commercial motor vehicles operating under the International Registration Plan (IRP) as well as those requiring standard base plates. The analyst ensures full compliance with federal, state, and local statutes; IRP requirements; and FMCSA regulations to support the legal movement of vehicles across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately process new IRP and base plate applications, renewals, and transfers by reviewing, evaluating, and verifying all required documentation.
• Issue and renew license plates—including apportioned plates—temporary permits, and cab cards from office inventory with a high degree of accuracy.
• Utilize and update state-specific systems (e.g., NE DMV, VA DMV) and IRP databases to ensure proper recordkeeping and compliance.
• Manage follow-up for rejected paperwork, research discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with a third-party partner responsible for titling and registration of all base-plated vehicles.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date physical and electronic records for all titles, registrations, permits, and related documents.
• Maintain and manage Truck/Trailer inventory within the designated data repository, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable state and federal regulations, IRP rules, and FMCSA requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Assist with account reconciliations related to registration and titling transactions.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures.
• Complete special projects and additional tasks as assigned.
