The Human Resources Assistant Manager supports the delivery of HR services for US-based employees by implementing and overseeing HR programs that enhance employee experience, ensure compliance, and drive operational effectiveness. This role works closely with HR leadership and business stakeholders to ensure consistent application of HR policies, effective employee relations support, and efficient HR service delivery in a shared services environment.
Job Requirements:
Serve as the primary HR contact for US employees and business leaders on HR policies, employee relations, and workforce matters
Build trust and accessibility with employees and managers to promote engagement and effective communication
Manage employee relations cases including coaching, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
Oversee performance improvement plans and support performance management processes aligned with company standards
Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with US employment laws and internal guidelines
Support onboarding, offboarding, and core HR operational processes for US employees
Administer and communicate compensation, benefits, and HR programs accurately and effectively
Analyze HR metrics (e.g., attrition, engagement, attendance, ER trends) and recommend improvements
Support employee engagement and retention initiatives to improve culture and experience
Partner with HR and business leaders to resolve workforce issues and support operational requirements
Contribute to HR policy development, process improvements, and HR program implementation
Support HR communications and organization-wide program rollouts
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of progressive HR experience in shared services, BPO, or high-volume operational environments supporting US employees
Strong experience in employee relations, HR operations, performance management, and policy enforcement
Working knowledge of US employment laws and HR compliance frameworks preferred
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and influence stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
High professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Amenable to work US business hours (9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST)
