Reporting to the Chief General Manager Commercial and Personal Injury, your role is to develop the Broker and Partner distribution strategy by implementing business plans to deliver sales, relationship and account management, service excellence and strong NPS to support Allianz’s smart growth ambition.

About the role:
- Define and execute the Broker and Partner Distribution strategy and business plan to deliver profitable growth across Commercial and Personal Injury.
- Lead the Broker Distribution function with an enterprise-wide perspective, aligning to broader Allianz Australia objectives.
- Own distribution performance, delivering clear reporting and driving accountability for financial, customer and growth outcomes.
- Establish compelling broker and partner value propositions using customer insights to strengthen loyalty, segmentation and channel effectiveness.
- Build and lead a high-performing Distribution Leadership team, elevating sales capability and talent across the function.
- Strengthen collaboration across Underwriting and Customer teams to enhance sales effectiveness, relationship management and end-to-end distribution excellence.
- Oversee broker and partner segmentation, operating model effectiveness and pipeline development to unlock sustainable growth opportunities.
- Ensure robust governance of broker agreements and distribution practices in line with regulatory, risk and compliance frameworks.
About you:
- 10+ years experience in leading sales and large key account portfolios in the insurance industry.
- Ability to foster cross functional awareness and collaboration, ensuring individual business objectives and people performance are aligned to organisational strategy, processes, values and culture.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Underwriting Agency operations, industry practices, governing legislation, and the general insurance industry.
- Extensive experience empowering people to realise their highest potential by recognising and developing individual and team performance and building talent pipelines to safeguard current and future organisational needs.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing competitive and breakthrough business strategies aligned to the organisation’s vision and purpose.
