Job Description

Job Summary:  

Test Operator 1 is responsible for performing all tasks related to In Process Testing. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:   

  • Trained in all aspects of In Process Testing. 
    • Measuring parts to be tested (OD, ID, THK, Density, Flux, Uniformity)
    • Equipment calibration and operation.
  • Follows priority lists as outlined by leadership and/or Epicor dashboards.
  • Proper completion of paperwork, and clocking jobs off in Epicor.
  • Follows pass/fail guidelines as outlined by the AQL standards.
  • Meets or exceeds established testing rates.
  • Maintains housekeeping standards. 
  • Follow all safety and quality standards. 
  • Ensure cleanliness of work area. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred. 
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions. 
  • Basic math and measurement skills. 
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:  

  • Works in a clean, well-lit production environment; requires protective footwear and eyewear. Requires full legged pants/jeans.
  • Regularly stands on cement floors with rubber mats; may involve sitting, stooping, bending, and walking. 
  • Capable of lifting and transporting an average weight of 10 lbs., up to a maximum of 40 lbs. 
  • Requires manual dexterity and near visual acuity. 
  • Ability to understand verbal instructions and comply with quality and safety regulations. 



2nd shift - Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
