Field Service Engineer – Laser Division

Role Purpose The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of advanced CNC machine tools, including laser tube cutting and flat sheet laser systems. The role is focused on ensuring both new and existing customers achieve maximum machine uptime, performance, and productivity. You will provide a level of service support that exceeds customer expectations, be recognised by customers as a trusted technical expert, and act as a key link between customers and the factory on technical matters, including product improvement and development. The machines supported are high-value systems, typically ranging from £500k to £2.5 million. Key Responsibilities Fault-finding, diagnosis, and repair of CNC machine tools Installation, commissioning, and handover of new machines Customer training on machine operation and basic maintenance After-sales and application support Preventative and corrective maintenance activities Providing technical feedback to internal teams and the factory Building strong, professional relationships with customers.
