We are currently seeking a Dental Hygienist to infuse new energy into our Hygiene team. - Professionally being able to hold space for anxious patients that you are treating.
- Comfortable in building relationships with your patients, where they trust you and your recommendations for care.
- Perform root planning and sub-gingival curettage.
- Apply Sealants.
- Adhere to our standard of care and appointment scheduling timelines.
- Answer treatment questions patients have both before and after their visit, if necessary.
- Oral cancer and Airway health screenings.
- Mentoring new team members when comfortable and can create value.
- Work with our Hygiene Coordinators to help schedule you for a successful and productive day.
- Chart all in Ascend, including updating any medical histories of patients.
- Comfortable to ask a happy patient to share their feedback online in a review, or refer a friend to the Practice if they know anyone looking for a new dental home. Proudly sharing our service with others.
- Work collaboratively with the entire Practice to meet or exceed monthly goals so all can receive their check exercise bonus!
- Generate and review reports, when directed, to help you maximize your hourly production.
- Attend full staff meetings and specially scheduled trainings.
- Take digital x-rays and wellness scans.
- Provide patient with prophylaxis when needed.
- Treatment of periodontal conditions.
- Increase patient awareness of any conditions or uncompleted dental work.
- Someone who is the "whole package". Customer service minded, likable and a strong clinician.
- Flexibility in regards to scheduling. Our office is open 6 days a week, including early morning, late evenings, and some holidays.
- Experience providing exceptional hospitality-inspired customer service in a fast-paced practice. Superior clinical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and high follow through.
- Must have a certificate in anesthesia.
- A positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude. Collaborative and comfortable in communications.
- Outstanding teamwork skills and the ability work with a diverse group of people.
- Associate degree in Dental Hygiene required
- One-three years experience practicing required
- Competitive Compensation: To start you will earn $50 per hour, then move to a percentage range of your production. Our Hygiene team members paid on this model earn $52 to $104 per hour, which translates to an annual take home of $79,000 to $158,000.
