We’re hiring part-time BMX coaches to help lead BMX summer camp programming at Cundiff Park, Colorado’s No. 1 ranked BMX track. Camp coaches work with youth participants of all ages. Sessions focus on teaching foundational bicycle handling skills, along with organized camp activities like water balloon fights, building dirt jumps and bike path adventures. As part of the Parks and Recreation team, you’ll help deliver a safe, engaging camp experience focused on learning, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of cycling.

- Lead daily BMX summer camp sessions for youth participants of varying ages and skill levels.
- Teach foundational BMX riding skills, safety practices, and bike handling techniques.
- Facilitate structured camp activities that combine instruction, practice, and recreational play.
- Set up and maintain safe riding environments, including basic track and equipment checks.
- Support a positive camp culture focused on encouragement, sportsmanship, and inclusion.
- Communicate with participants, families, and staff regarding camp schedules and expectations.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in a camp or recreation setting.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Valid Colorado driver’s license (if applicable).
- Experience working with youth in recreational, educational, or camp environments is preferred.
- Interest or familiarity with BMX riding, cycling, or similar outdoor sports.

- Can model patience, encouragement, and positive sportsmanship.
- Are comfortable working outdoors in varied weather and active physical settings.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with campers, families, and staff.
