About The Opportunity

The Director of Finance – Commercial serves as a strategic business partner to Menasha Packaging’s North America Sales organization, providing financial leadership, insights, and decision support to drive profitable growth. This role is responsible for leading commercial finance activities including forecasting, performance analytics, customer profitability, and strategic planning, while ensuring strong financial discipline and governance.
As a key member of the finance leadership team, this individual collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to align financial and business objectives, improve forecast accuracy, and optimize investment decisions.
This role requires a highly analytical, collaborative leader who can influence at all levels, navigate complexity, and translate data into meaningful business outcomes that support Menasha Packaging’s continued growth and customer-centric focus.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial leadership for the Commercial Finance function within MPC, serving as a key business partner to the sales leadership team
  • Drive strong financial control, reporting, forecasting, and analytics across NA Sales accounts; support delivery of profitable growth, customer profitability, and execution of strategic investment commitments
  • Lead the NA sales demand planning financial inputs into SIOP; partner closely with Supply Planning to improve forecast accuracy and align financial and operational plans
  • Support long-term strategic planning for key accounts, delivering financial insights that guide decision-making and growth strategies
  • Oversee commercial contract standards and governance in partnership with the Contracts Manager, ensuring consistency, risk mitigation, and financial discipline
  • Enhance analytical capabilities across the commercial finance function to deliver actionable insights spanning revenue, profitability, and working capital performance
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, support customer-facing financial discussions that enable commercial growth

  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to partner effectively across finance and business teams
  • Sound judgment and comfort making recommendations on significant business decisions

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant experience supporting commercial, sales, or business-facing finance functions
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with direct team management and a track record of developing high-performing teams
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decision-making in a matrixed organization
  • Strong background in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), forecasting, and business analytics
  • Experience working with SIOP, demand planning, or integrated business planning processes preferred
  • Proven ability to manage complex financial models, profitability analysis, and commercial decision support
  • Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or a similar industry environment preferred
  • Familiarity with contract governance and commercial financial structures is a plus
