In this strategic role as People & Culture Senior Manager, Indonesia & Malaysia, you'll support VP People & Culture (P&C)s in delivering agreed entity/sub-entity P&C priorities, translate priorities into tangible actions/project deliverables to enable successful delivery of people plan.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develops a deep understanding of the business they support and focuses on driving and delivering organisational change initiatives as appropriate.

  • Delivers people & culture advisory support to leaders and may facilitate resolution of everyday queries and coaching to drive engagement, pre-empting and resolving employee relations (ER) cases and ensuring that diversity and inclusion are a foundation of the business people plan and supported throughout all people management activity.

  • Drive talent management initiatives for the business they support, enabling people to build the capabilities our business values, and ensuring implementation of focused talent management processes that are aligned to business priorities and objectives, assessing their impact on organisational effectiveness.

  • Enables a compliant and high-performance culture through aligned performance management, reward and recognition frameworks, managing the delivery of integrated reward/recognition solutions to the business and overseeing the annual reward process.

  • Leverages standard processes and identifies efficiencies and opportunities based on deep experience to improve value to end customer (leaders and employees).

  • Leads and/or deploys to cross-functional/cross-P&C projects.

  • Align with partnering and CoE colleagues to develop, plan, and implement delivery of prioritized strategic people and culture initiatives including talent management and development, employee engagement, M&A, reorganizations, etc.

  • Ensures personal and team compliance with the function's safety and compliance rules and processes, follows procedures, and provides an exemplary display of company values & desired mindset and behaviours.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or other social sciences.

Experience:

  • Proven working experience in a mid-level management position in HR.

  • Well rounded HR professional with appropriate mix of HR experience (specialist and front line).

  • Deep level of knowledge and experience in HR system/ processes and their applications.

  • Good awareness of the commercial side of the business and HR’s role in supporting the business.

  • Good knowledge of local employment law.

  • Coaching, influencing and communication skills.

  • Ability to engage all levels of the organization with credibility and respect of peers, team leaders and external parties.

  • Ability to establish credibility with clients; demonstrates how People & Culture adds value, sets high standards of people care and support and seeks to exceed these.
