Potato Warehouse Operator

Oversee the loading and unloading of potatoes into and out of storage facility. Take on supervisory role during harvest and filling of warehouses. Proactively communicate with all departments in a professional manner.

Responsible for the loading and unloading of potatoes in on-site storages according to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reporting any unforeseen issues to Management.

Maintenance of all outside equipment and warehouses. Sanitation and setup of lines in warehouses before and during fall harvest.

Oversee the integrity of raw quality at harvest and throughout the storage season. Keep the Senior Raw Supervisor informed of daily issues relating to the raw product.

Assist in the training of new employees in the use of storage equipment and the proper way to deliver potatoes from storage according to company’s SOP’s.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and also assist other personnel as needed to maintain the same conditions in the yard, raw and storage buildings. Ensuring plant is always tour ready. Attend and participate in meetings, training and continuing education programs internally or externally as deemed appropriate by management.
