Position Overview:
Responsibilities will include providing administration of real estate assets within accounts such as personal trust accounts, estates, guardianships, and agencies, up to and including moderately complex situations. Represents the bank in contacts with various third parties, including but not limited to customers, real estate agents, appraisers, inspectors, attorneys, beneficiaries. Actively works in the field to execute various responsibilities regarding real estate. Works together with Trust Officers, Administrators and Associates during the complete administration of various accounts holding real estate. Obtains appropriate documentation on accounts; authorizes payments from accounts, completes transactions related to the real estate, considers tax liabilities. Represents the bank in business-related activities including professional organizations, conferences, and seminars, and in other similar situations.
What you’ll do:
Administration
Responsible for the protection, insurance, and sale of real estate included within accounts. Travel to various real estate locations, required to assist third party professionals in the security and sale of real estate. Locate title and additional records for tax and internal administration preparation and filing. Coordinate and participate in meetings with internal Trust Officers, Administrators and Associates.
Sales Support
Develop and maintain relationships with area lawyers, accountants, and centers of influence for business referrals. Maintain accurate and detailed vendor records with complaint documentation. Work closely with other team members of Wintrust Wealth Management and the Bank in cross-selling opportunities, where appropriate.
Operational Duties
Maintain files, supplies, and marketing material. Maintain internal records of all real estate assets and coordinate with Trust Officers, Administrators and Associates when needed.
Participate in special projects, as requested.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred;
Minimum of 10 years of real estate administration experience.
Personal vehicle is highly recommended.
Requires knowledge of real estate title, tax, and sale.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Highly proficient per Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
